MP CALLS FOR REPEAL OF SUICIDE LAW

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 8 (Bernama) — A member of parliament today called for the repeal of the law on suicide, saying the jail term and fine did not seem to be a deterrent factor in preventing suicides.
